NEW YORK (May 20, 2025) – APT Travel Group, operator of APT Luxury Travel, Travelmarvel, Botanica World Discoveries, and Captain’s Choice, has joined the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) as its newest Active Member. This brings the current total to 53 Active Members representing 149 brands.
"It’s a pleasure to welcome back APT as a valued member of USTOA,” said Terry Dale, president and CEO of USTOA. “Their long-standing reputation for quality and innovation aligns seamlessly with the association’s values. We’re proud to be part of their journey as they deepen their reach in the North American market.”
“Becoming a member of USTOA is a key step in our strategy to build trust and strengthen our relationships with North American travelers,” said David Cox, CEO of APT Travel Group. “It underscores our dedication to offering not just exceptional travel experiences, but the security and confidence that comes with partnering with an organization committed to the highest industry standards.”
APT Travel Group has a proud history dating back to 1927, beginning with a single bus built in response to a Melbourne tram strike. Over the decades, the company evolved and helped shape Australia’s travel industry, eventually launching Australian Pacific Touring in 1967.
Such innovation continues to thrive within APT Travel Group today, now a global business with an extensive portfolio of touring and cruising brands that appeal to particular segments of the travel market. In addition to APT Luxury Travel, the portfolio includes Travelmarvel, Botanica World Discoveries, and Captain’s Choice. The brands enable the group to maintain an unwavering focus on delivering life-enriching travel experiences, tailored to each guest’s preferred style of touring or cruising.
